Swatch: COLLISTAR No. 42

This is a brown color with some red glitter. It’s called “Melanzana Glitter”. In english “Glitter Egg-plant”. I don’t understand why it’s called like that, isn’t the egg-plant more violet? Well, it’s a really good polish, it last for a long time but it’s a bit expensive! (€ 11.90 if don’t remember wrong).

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 17

This is a light violet color. It’s also a little bit holographic but in the picture it isn’t visible. It takes a long time to dry also because I put a lot since it’s almost transparent.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 28

I had this color for some time but I never really liked it and I don’t know why. The other day I wore it and loved it! In the bottle and in the picture it seems more purple than in reality. In natural light it’s more burgundy/red.

Swatch: KIKO No.267

This is a wonderful blue color. I really like this specially with some glitter on it.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 21

This gold polish is really nice. It’s very sheer so you need at least two coats of polish to have a beautiful gold color. The only bad thing about this color is that it puts enphasis on the imperfections of the nail.

Swatch: KIKO No.116

One of the few red polish that I have. This isn’t a vivid red but a more burgundy red. I always wear this during Christmas time!

Swatch: KIKO No. 268

This is a very light green. This are two coats but the color is still very sheer.

Swatch: RIMMEL 60 Seconds No. 819 “Green With Envy”

I really like this color. It’s a metallic turquoise.

Swatch: basic - Metallic Green

This color is very similar to RIMMEL’s “Green With Envy” but it’s darker and less “blue-ish”. I still like it very much.

Swatch: Bottega Verde No. 15

This is a very light yellow creme. I don’t like this color alone but it’s good as a base for decorations.

Swatch: KIKO No. 269

This is a vely sheer yellow base with a lot of yellow micro glitter. I don’t like it alone but it’s good with other polishes.

Swatch: RIMMEL 60 Seconds No. 430 “Coralicious”

This is one of my favourite polishes. It’s a wonderful coral creme.

About Me

Hello everyone!

My name is Lisa, I’m 21 years old and I’m from Italy.

My No.1 passion is Asia and I already have a blog where I share my passion for Asia with other people.

I decided to open this blog because I really like to wear nail polish and I see in a lot of Japanese magazines really wonderful nails (this is the link to a fantastic blog where you can find different kinds of Japanese magazines about nails but also celebrities, fashion, etc.)

The nails in those magazines are almost all fake and really complicated. So I tried to obtain the same effects on my natural nails at home, without spending a lot of money in nails bars.

I just want to share my experiments and knowledge with other people. Some of my nail creations are really easy and simple, others are a bit more complicated. I take my inspiration from magazines, music videos, album covers and everything around me.

This is my YouTube Channel where you can find my videos.

Christmas Nails | GOLD CHRISTMAS TREE

This is a really easy Christmas nail art.
Unfortunately I couldn't make a full manicure because I cut my right index finger near the nail so take off the polish hurts like hell... and I don't want to go around with just a hand with polish. For this reason I will make "small" manicure like this one until my finger heals.
What you need: a thin brush.
Colors:
  • Base Coat: Debby nail THERAPY smoothing base + minerals
  • Light Pink: KIKO No. 173
  • White: KIKO No. 101
  • Gold: DEBORAH Shine TECH No. 21
  • Dark Green: DEBORAH 7 Days Long No. 793
  • Red: RIMMEL PRO No. 323 RIVIERA RED
  • Top Coat: KIKO Extra strong & hard No.04
How to:
  1. Apply your base coat.
  2. Apply a light pink polish. Actually I don't like this color combination, I think using a more neutral tone would be better. You can use a nude/beige polish or a gold one (just be sure it's sheer.)
  3. With the white polish cover the nail leaving a "V" at the base.
  4. Using the brush and the gold polish delineate the "V" at the base. Make the gold line longer toward the tip of the nail.
  5. Use a the head of a needle to make some dots with red and dark green polish.
  6. When the dots are PERFECTLY dry apply a top coat and, while it's still wet, add a star at the top of the tree and sone flat glitter on the dots.
