Halloween Nails | Ghosts

This is my final Halloween mani. I love that it turned out more cute than scary.

I know my ghosts are a bit weird but I draw them 5 times and this is the better result.

I used RIMMEL 60 Seconds 809 Blue Me Away as a base. I painted the ghosts with white acrylic paint and added a bit of silver glitter (KIKO 228 and 273). On all the other nails I applied multicolored glitter (KIKO 230).

Then I used top coat to glue the plastic eyes on the ghosts!

They are so cute, they are always looking at me!!

The plastic eyes are 4mm wide and I bought them at a crafts store.

Kpop Nails | Orange Caramel's Shanghai Romance Inspired Nails

This mani is inspired by Orange Caramel's Shanghai Romance.

I absolutely love this mani. I don't want to take it off!

Step 1: apply your base coat and a dark blue shimmer polish. I used a matte one but you can choose any nail polish since we are going to put top coat over it.

-dark blue: OPI Russian Navy Suede-

Step 2: use a white striper to make two vertical lines on each nail.

-white striper: KIKO 203-

Step 3: use the same striper to make two horizontal lines.

-white striper: KIKO 203-

Step 4: cover the white stripes with red nail polish.

-red: MAYBELLINE FOREVER STRONG 535-

Step 5: use a black striper and add lines over the red lines. I made one in the middle of each stripe and one on the side. I messed up a little on my pinky but it's not noticeable.

-black striper: essence 09 mysterious black-

Step 6: make three small dots on your nails with gold nail polish.

-gold: KIKO 307-

Step 7: apply a really thin layer of fine glitter polish over the whole nail. I concentrated it more on the red stripes and applied almost nothing on the blue parts.

Apply your top coat and you're done!

Kpop Nails | G.NA's TOP GIRL Inspired Nails

This nail art is inspired by G.NA's music video for TOP GIRL and it was a request. I'm sorry it took me this long!! Hope you will like it!

Step 1: apply your base coat. Apply a nude polish on your pinky, a white polish on your ring finger, hot pink polish on your middle and index fingers and black polish on your thumb.

-nude: basic [b]-

-white: basic [b]-

-hot pink: KIKO 283-

-black: Deborah Shine TECH 30-

Step 2: use a black striper to paint the shape of G.NA dress on the pinky. Make a black french on your ring finger and scratch it with a needle or dotting tool. (I used a dotting tool but it was too thick so a needle it's probably better!)

Make a nude french on your middle finger. Apply a gold glitter polish on your thumb.

-nude: basic [b]-

-gold glitter: KIKO 164-

Step 3: add some silver sequines or rhinestones on your ring finger. Decorate the nude french on your middle finger with a black striper and try to recreate the same pattern on G.NA dress. (I know it's impossible so just go with random strokes!)

Step 4: for the index finger we will go 3D!!!

I wanted to create the same layered effect as G.NA dress.

I made in advance three "foils" of an hot pink nail polish. (*see the end of the post to know how to make them!)

I took the first layer, cut it slightly at the edge and then applyed it at the tip of my nail with top coat. I didn't apply top coat on the cut edge so it will not adhere to the nail.

Step 5: Repeat the same process with all the three layers and then cut of excesses.

Apply your top coat on all the nails EXCEPT the index or you will lose the 3D effect!

(*) How to make the "foils"

I used a tutorial made by Tartofraises

1-I took a plastic bag (the ones for the documents)

2-I applied a layer of clear polish of the dimension of my nail (more or less)

3-I applied a layer of hot pink polish and let it dry well.

4-I removed the dry nail polish from the plastic bag with tweezers and obtained a square of polish.

5-I cut of the excess and applied the "foil" on the nail with a bit of top coat.

You can also make your own stickers with this tecnique! It's really clever!

A very beautiful color. It has a bit of a pearly finish, so there are some brush strokes but they are very subtle. It's very opaque and it only needs one coat.

Kpop Nails | Secret's Love is MOVE Inspired Nails

This mani is inspired by the outfits Secret wear in their latest music video "Love is MOVE".

I didn't love the song too much at first but I totally fell in love with the mv and the black&pink outfits.

The pinky is Zinger, the ring finger is Hyoseong, the middle finger is Jieun and the index is Sunhwa.

At the end of the post I also show you the nails the girls are wearing in the mv.

Step 1: apply your base coat.

Apply a black nail polish on your index and and a bright pink glitter nail polish on all your other nails.

-black: Deborah Shine TECH 30-

-pink glitter: KIKO 277-

Step 2 (OPTIONAL): use a black striper to paint an oblique line on your pinky. On your ring finger make a black line right below the tip of your nail, on your middle finger make one in the middle of your nail. This will help you in the next step but if you are confindent in your abilities you can skip it.
