Funky Goldfinger {Birthday nail art!!}

Today it's my birthday!! This is the mani I wore today.

To create this I used a sponge and Catrice Goldfinger on the tips, then I added a layer of essence Not Punky Nor Funky from the Be Loud! Limited Edition.

I really love gradient tips and glitter!!

Not Punky Nor Funky is a super fun polish. It's a glitter top coat with different types of glitter.

There are black square glitters, pink and gold exagonal glitter, big iridiscent glitters, holographic bar glitters and really fine hot pink glitters.

It's a party polish!

L'oreal - Bling Bling Bang

This nail polish is part of the Color Riche Carat Collection. There are four polish in total and I bought Bling Bling Bang and Sequin Explosion.

It's really difficult to get color accurate pictures with this polish. In real life Bling Bling Bang is a lot more purple. When I bought it I was sure it was purple, until I put it on my nails!

Bling Bling Bang has a jelly base with LOTS of glitter of differet sizes.

With a jelly base I was expecting tons of layers to get an opaque colour but I was wrong.

In the pictures you cas see two coats of polish. The polish is a bit thick because of all the glitter but it dries quite quickly.

It dries matte and uneven, with a rough surface.

I absolutely love this polish, it's super sparkly and beautiful! Now I'm really curious to try its "brother" Sequin Explosion.

Below I applied two coats of top coat to get a shiny and even surface. It's even better!

Catrice - Rouge, Bien Sûr

Rouge, Bien Sûr is part of the limited edition L'Afrique, c'est chic.

There are five polishes in this collection but I only bought one because the other colours were too bright or too boring for me.

Rouge, Bien Sûr is a red textured polish. The bottle says sand finish.

What I really like about this polish is that it has very fine and subtle silver glitter. On the nails the glitter isn't very visible but it's enough to not make the polish too flat.

 

The polish is very opaque so I used two thin coats and, obviously, no top coat. It also dries very quickly.

I really like this polish. The red colour makes it very elegant and classic but the textured finish makes it more original. Also I love textured polishes!

MAYBELLINE - Rain Forest Canopy

This Sunday I stumbled upon the Polka Dots Collection by MAYBELLINE Color Show.

There are four colours in the collection (here in Italy). I could only find the green polish, the others were all sold out!

This green polish is called Rain Forest Canopy.

It's a green jelly base with black and white exagonal glitter in different sizes.

The base is sheer so I needed three coats for full opacity. I really like the formula, the polish dried really quickly.

All the pictures are without top coat.

The glitter didn't apply evenly but it's easy to fix dabbing it on the nail.

Kpop Nails | KARA's Hara in Damaged Lady

 This nail art is inspired by the nails Hara has in Damaged Lady music video.

For the base I used a gold polish (essence Breaking Dawn LE 03 Piece of Forever). Then I added some pearls on the border of the nails.

As an accent I used some rhinestones and pearls.

I have to admit that I'm not happy with the result. I like the border with the pearls but I probably chose the wrong gold polish. It's too yellow and it doesn't go well with my skintone.

Kpop Nails | B.A.P's Badman Inspired Nails

Two manis inspired by B.A.P's "Badman" music video.

For the first mani I used an ivory base (Deborah Pret a Porter 11 Ivory Affair) and a black matte polish (KIKO 306).

For the second mani I used a blue base (Deborah Shine TECH 35) and added the details with acrylic paint.
