Catrice - Stardust

Stardust is part of the new Crushed Crystals polishes from Catrice. They are textured glitter polishes.
I really like sparkly textured polishes and this one is no exception.

Stardust has a sheer black base with a lot of irregular silver glitter.

The formula is a bit thick but nothing awful, it also dried quickly.
The glitter is so dense that the polish is opaque in two coats.

I also tried to apply a top coat and the sparkle was really strong.

Catrice - Berry Potter & Plumbledore

Yesterday I finally found the new Catrice polishes. I bought three of them (and I already swatched them, I will post them soon). I'm probably going back to the store to buy some more shades.

Berry Potter & Plumbledore (lovely name!) is a medium purple polish with a strong teal shimmer. Usually I'm not a fan of these shades but I really like this one and I think I will buy the similar Get The Blues.

The formula is good and only needed two coats.

Kpop Nails | IU's Red Shoes Inspired Nails

This mani is inspired by IU's music video "Red Shoes".

For this nail art I took inspiration from the outfits and the scenography of the video.
I tried to keep cohesion in the mani by doing a chevron half moon and most of the nails.
The accents nails are obviously inspired by the song title.

Rosy Romeo

Lately I'm wearing a lot of nude/pink shades, maybe I'm feeling the spring coming, even if here the weather is really awful.

The base colour of this look is essence Rosy In Love from the Love Letters LE, a pretty pastel pink. Then I added a layer of KLEANCOLOR I Do, Romeo, a clear polish with white matte hexagonal glitter in different sizes. The formula of I Do, Romeo isn't the best: is very thick and the glitter is hard to spread evenly, but I really like this polish so I can overlook that.
For a softer look I added a layer of matte top coat, I used essie Matte About You.

This mani was very popular at school, even one of my school teacher asked me how I did it.
Unfortunately it didn't last long, after a day it started to crack (as you can see in the picture below). I don't know if it's the thick KLEANCOLOR polish or the matte top coat but it chipped after two days.

Heart Shaped Tips

Even if Valentine's Day is over I wanted to do this cute mani. I tought it was going to be very difficult and messy but it turned out really easy to do!
I already did heart tips in a previous manicure and I received a lot of compliments so I hope this will be a success too!

I used a sheer nude polish with gold shimmer as my base (KIKO 205), then I made the first heart shaped tip with a rose gold polish (ORLY Rage) and lastly I made a second, smaller, heart tip with a dark red creme (essence Do You Speak Love?).

Super easy and super pretty!

LOVE Nails!!

Hello everyone!
I did my first Valentine's Day mani of the year.
I was invited to partecipate in the Create A Little Love Campaign by Brilliant Earth. The campaign will feature pictures that creatively spell the word love.
Brilliant Earth sells ethically sourced diamonds and engagement rings.

I obviously decided to create a nail art.
I wanted to create something delicate but in the end it came out more cute, but I like it anyway!

Below the word LOVE I painted some white roses with acrylic paint: they are not very visible, but they make the letters stand out!
I also added some gold and red hearts because, well it's Valentine's Day!
