Swatch: CND No. 565 Sweet

(above camera flash - below natural light)

My first CND polish and I really love it. I love the color, the formula and the brush.
The only let down is that is really similar to other two colors that I already have: ORLY Pixy Stix and basic 42. They are not identical but very similar. Below you can see a comparision.

The first time I saw Sweet was on ALU and I loved it immediately. I didn't purchase his "twin" Sugar Sparkle because I already had a KIKO polish that looked similar so here is Sweet with a layer of KIKO 228. The final look is ok but maybe in the future I will still purchase Sugar Sparkle because it seem really nice.

Here the comparion I talked about above.
As you can see the colors are similar but different.
Compared to Sweet, Pixy Stix is more peach toned and the basic polish is more darker.

Swatch: ORLY PIXY STIX

(above camera flash - below natural light)

Another ORLY polish from their Sweet Collection.
I really like this color but when I wore it I had the impression that it was similar to CND Sweet and a basic polish. I will compare it in the CND post.

Scans | SCawaii April 2010

I absolutely love this nail art and I want to try make it on my nails asap, but unfortunately I have a cut on my middle finger and I'm trying to leave my nails alone for a while.

Swatch: ORLY SNOWCONE

(above camera flash - below natural light)

Snowcone is going to quickly become one of my favoutires.
It's my first ORLY and I was really satisfied with it. It's a one coater and the color is very vibrant. Pure love!!

Swatch: Color Club No. 888 GOSSIP COLUMN

(above camera flash - below natural light)

I was really surprised with this color. From the swatch I saw in internet I tought it would be totally different, more blue and less teal. But I like this color and I don't have anything similar to Gossip Column.

Swatch: Deborah Sense TECH No. 04

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is one of the new matte polish from Deborah.
I'm a bit disappointed with this polish.
It takes more time to dries (about 2 or 3 minutes) so is more easy to apply compared to OPI Matte and Suede but the final result is very dull.
It's a shame because I really liked the color.

Swatch: Deborah 7 Days Long No. 829

(above camera flash - below natural light)

A very beautiful blue creme. In real life is more muted and grey-ish than in the picture.

Scans | Nail Max April 2010

Some scans from the April issue of Nail Max with Kumi Koda on the cover.

Scans | Happie Nuts February 2010

I love Happie Nuts because it's fun, cute and sexy!
Here a few scans from the issue of February that shows different nail styles! My fav is "POP".

This is the cover for the April issue. I love this picture very very much!

Scans | Nail Up March 2010

March issue of Nail Up with Anna Tsuchiya.

Scans | JJ

The first picture is from the May issue and the last two are from the Novembre 2009 issue from JJ, a fashion magazine.
It seem like "accent nails" are really popular these days, I saw a lot of them in music videos and TV shows too.

Scans | CanCam May 2010

CanCam isn't a nail mag so there are just a few pages about nails, but they are really cute! They used OPI Honk Kong collection and Alice in Wonderland collection.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 30

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is the perfect black creme for me. I rarely wear it alone on my nails but I uset it a lot for nail art. It's opaque in one coat and dries fast and super glossy.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 18

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is one of those polish that in the bottle looks gorgeous but on the nails is boring.
It's a black creme base with silver holographic glitter. The first coat is sheer but it's opaque on the second. On the nail the glitter loose a lot of brilliancy and it dries rough so a top coat is needed.

Swatch: Deborah Shine TECH No. 22

(above camera flash - below natural light)

I really like silver polish and this one is no exception. In the pictures is two coats and there's VNL but I like the result. Good for layering.

Swatch: basic - Hot Pink

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This is another basic jewel. I usually don't like pinks but this one is really pretty.
Also is a color that I can wear for a few days without getting bored of it.
In real life is a bit less bright than in the picture but it surely isn't a soft shade.
If I find a back up bottle I will be sure to buy it.

Swatch: basic - Silver

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This little one is a real jewel. It a metallic silver, very opaque. In the picutre are two cats but it's actually a one coater. It's perfect for nail art too. I already bought a back up bottle since it's really small (5ml) and very cheap (€ 0.99).

Swatch: basic - Gold

(above camera flash - below natural light)

This polish doesn't go well with me. As you can see is a gold shimmer and I really liked it in the bottle. I think it doesn't go well with me because there is too much yellow in it. My skin really doesn't go well with yellow polish. Such a shame.

Swatch: basic - Nude

(above camera flash - below natural light)

I bought this color because it is really similar to RIMMEL 60 Seconds "Alaska" that I wanted for a long time. Since the price was only € 1.99 I gave it a try and I really love it. It's a really nice color. This is two coats and there is still VNL but I don't mind it that much in this case.
